Privacy Policy
LaunchLab Studio (“LaunchLab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any brand, company, or message details you choose to share.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. We also use analytics cookies to measure how the site is used — see Cookies, analytics, and visitor identification below.
- Information inferred about your organization. We use a third-party visitor-identification service to infer the company you may be visiting from, and, for some visitors in the United States, business contact details associated with that visit. See Cookies, analytics, and visitor identification below.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your brand, a potential partnership, or an acquisition.
- To understand which businesses are interested in working with us, and to reach out to companies that appear to be a fit.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website.
- To protect against fraud, spam, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Note that our visitor-identification provider receives and retains data about visits to our site as described under Cookies, analytics, and visitor identification. Otherwise we share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run our site and handle communications — for example, Vercel for hosting, Resend for delivering contact-form emails, Google for site analytics, and Apollo.io for visitor identification. They process data on our behalf, and Apollo also processes it for its own purposes as described in its privacy policy.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Cookies, analytics, and visitor identification
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, along with analytics that help us understand how visitors find and use the site.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure how our site is used. It sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_<container-id>) that store a randomly generated identifier so that returning visits can be recognized, and it collects data such as the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your full IP address. We use this only in aggregate, to understand which pages and channels are working. We have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or ads personalization, so this data is not used to target you with advertising.
We also use Apollo.io, a business-data provider, to identify the organizations visiting our site. Apollo’s script runs on every page and collects technical and behavioral data — including your IP address, the pages you view, referring pages, and device and browser information — and matches it against Apollo’s own database. This is used to infer the company you may be visiting from. For some visitors in the United States, the same technology can identify an individual visitor and associate the visit with business contact information such as a name, job title, employer, or work email address, even if you never submit a form or otherwise give us your details. We use this information only for business-to-business purposes: understanding which companies are interested in LaunchLab and following up with those that look like a fit. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to target you across other websites.
Your choices. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the site works. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google’s browser opt-out add-on. If you would prefer that we not identify you or your organization through this technology, email us at hello@launchlab.studio and we will stop processing that information about you and delete what we hold. You can also contact Apollo directly to request removal of your information from its database, and California residents can review Apollo’s CCPA privacy statement.
Data retention
We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, after which we delete or anonymize them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing — including the visitor identification described above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
